Juniper Juniperusoccidentalisor “真柏” in Chinese belongs tothe Juniperus genus and contains 60-70 species of evergreen and aromatic trees and shrubs of the Cupressaceae family. These shrubs have high value and are being grown as ornamental plants and for timber production. Its leaves are juvenile and need shaped and produces spreading, and awl-shapedwhorls.
The cones of juniperus are essentially beneficial for food flavoring, and alcoholic beverages. Moreover, it is also used for the removal of gamey taste. Some people are also using these structures in the seasonal sauces, pickling meats, food stuffing, and for flavoring of bitters, and liqueurs.
